Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the Modi government is leaving no stone unturned to punish those drug smugglers who are pushing the youth into the dark pit of drugs for the greed of money.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in a post on X that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to making India a drug-free country. The government will continue to fight the drug menace. An official release quoted Shah as saying that as a result of a thorough and thorough investigation conducted with strategy, courts have convicted 29 drug smugglers in 12 different cases across the country.
Efforts to make India drug-free
The statement said that this success is a testimony to the tough attitude adopted by the government. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has achieved this significant success under the Modi government's zero-tolerance policy against drugs. These convictions are an example of the NCB's dedication to ensuring successful prosecution in cases filed in the courts. The Home Ministry has said that under the guidance of Shah, the NCB is working tirelessly to realize the Prime Minister's dream of a drug-free India by 2047.
