India will now tighten its grip on Bangladesh, a big report has come regarding the attack on Hindus.

India's attitude will be more strict against the interim government and head of the government Professor Mohammad Yunus regarding the continuous attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. The reason is that now the police investigation report there is also justifying India's stand.

 

Now it has come to the fore that Yunus' government is constantly misleading the international community about the way Hindu minorities have been continuously attacked in Bangladesh after the ouster of former PM Sheikh Hasina from power. In a detailed report released by Bangladesh Police on Saturday, it has been said that 98.4 percent of the attacks on Hindu temples, shops, or residences after Sheikh Hasina left the country have been politically motivated.

Many officials of Professor Yunus' government have been saying till now that India is exaggerating the attacks on Hindus. Bangladesh Police has stated its view based on an investigation of a total of 1415 attacks on minorities from 04 August to 20 August 2024. Whereas in the report released by Bangladesh Hindu, Buddhist, Christian Unity Council, 2010 attacks have been mentioned.

 

Only 20 cases of communal attacks reported

 

Bangladesh Police has admitted that a total of 1769 attacks have been reported. Out of these, 1415 cases have been investigated and the remaining cases are being investigated. Out of these, only 20 cases have been considered communal attacks. Let us tell you that some other organizations had said on 08 December 2024 that a total of 2200 attacks have taken place on minorities in Bangladesh after 04 August.

 

Indian Foreign Secretary had raised the issue.

 

Later, the Foreign Secretary of India also raised this issue in the Foreign Ministry meeting held between the two countries. This was rejected by the top officials of the interim government and an attempt was made to present it as interference in India's internal affairs.
