Turkey, which is helping Pakistan by sending drones, is facing constant anger. Now Udaipur's marble traders have decided not to buy Turkey's marble. Earlier, Pune's traders have decided not to import apples from Turkey.
After this, Udaipur Marble Processors Committee President Kapil Surana has spoken about stopping the marble trade with Turkey. He said, 'Udaipur is Asia's largest marble exporter. All the members of the committee had unanimously agreed to stop trade with Turkey because Turkey supports Pakistan. 70% of the marble imported to India comes from Turkey.
We should stop our trade with Turkey...
Kapil Surana further said, not only Udaipur, if all the marble associations stop their trade with Turkey, then it will send a strong message to the world that the Government of India is not alone, the industry and all Indians stand with our government. If we stop trading with Turkey, the demand for Indian marble will increase.'
First, a ban was imposed on buying apples.
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India entered Pakistan's border and destroyed the terrorist hideouts. After this, the tension between the two countries increased a lot. Amidst the war-like situation, Turkey openly came out in support of Pakistan.
Why did it take such a decision?
There is a lot of anger among the citizens of the country due to its stance. In this episode, the traders of Pune had decided to boycott the apples coming from Turkey. After this decision, these apples have now disappeared from the local markets. Apples are no longer being imported from Turkey, but are being brought from other places. It has been told that during the crop season, apples worth about Rs 1,000 to 1,200 crore are purchased from Turkey.
Tourists kept their distance from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Turkey and Azerbaijan, which openly supported Pakistan during the conflict with India, are facing the wrath of Indian tourists. Indian tourists are cancelling their trips to both the countries. Travel agencies like EnjoyMoyTrip and Cox & Kings have suspended all travel packages to both the countries.
Earlier, Maldives had also frowned. A large number of Indian tourists had decided not to go there. Due to this, the government there started seeing stars even during the day. In 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a photo of Lakshadweep on the internet media and appealed to go there.
