Terrorists getting support from across the border
Regarding the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the army chief said the ceasefire in February 2021 is continuing well there, but cross-border support for terrorism and terror infrastructure persists. The situation on the northern borders is stable but unpredictable, he said. We have been able to resolve five out of the seven issues. We have continued to talk both at the military and diplomatic levels. We have adequate reserves to meet any contingency. While talking about the situation in the Northeast, he said that there is peace in most of the northeastern states. Economic activities and development initiatives have yielded good results.

The Artillery Regiment of the Indian Army plays an important role in any war situation. Today it is the second largest branch of the Indian Army, tasked with providing firepower to the Indian Army during its ground operations. This regiment is mainly divided into two parts.
