Indigo plane engine fire in Delhi: Sparks erupted while taking off for Bengaluru; All 184 passengers safe

The engine of an Indigo Airlines flight caught fire during take-off at Delhi airport at 9:45 pm on Friday. Realizing the danger, the pilot stopped it on the runway itself. It had 184 passengers. All are safe. In a statement issued by IndiGo, it has been said that the sparks appeared due to a technical fault.

 

In this incident, DGCA said that during takeoff a loud bang was heard in the engine-2 of the flight, due to which it caught fire. According to DGCA, the flight has been grounded after controlling the fire. The cause of the accident is being investigated and action will be taken against those who are guilty of this.

 

Passenger made video

The video of this incident is going viral on social media. It was made by the passenger present on the plane. It is seen in the video that the plane runs on the runway for taking off when suddenly sparks start rising. Soon the spark takes the form of fire. The pilot immediately stops the plane on the runway itself. Then all the people were taken out safely.

 

A day before the bird collided with the flight of Akasa

A bird collided with an Akasa Airlines flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi on Thursday. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft was at an altitude of 1900 feet in the air at the time of the incident. The front of the plane was buried due to the bird's collision.

 

Two days ago the flight from Jaipur to Chandigarh had an emergency landing

The Jaipur-Chandigarh-bound plane had to make an emergency landing at the Jaipur airport due to a technical snag. This incident happened on 26 October. There were 70 passengers on the plane. The AC temperature was not maintained in the aircraft after take-off. Due to this, the passengers started having difficulty in breathing. In a hurry, the plane landed back at Jaipur airport.
