Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya is very happy after winning four consecutive matches in IPL 2025. On Wednesday, the Mumbai team defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets. After this victory, Hardik said that he was happy that the team was going in the right direction. After restricting Sunrisers to 143 runs for eight wickets based on Trent Boult's four wickets, Mumbai won by three wickets based on Rohit Sharma's second consecutive half-century.

Hardik said after the match, 'It feels good to win. I am happy that the team is going in the right direction. I think when all the players are in form, we will dominate. Deepak and Boult did the job in bowling, while Rohit and Suryakumar did the batting. It was a great win.'

When asked about getting Deepak Chahar to bowl four consecutive overs, he said, 'Many times in captaincy, decisions have to be taken according to the situation. Many things cannot be predetermined. When he was bowling well in the powerplay, there was no reason to stop his fourth over.' On making Vignesh Puthur bowl, Hardik said, 'At that time we wanted him to take a risk and get us a wicket. It was difficult for a young player. We can get better in all departments. We discussed about being very clinical and very smart. We will take it forward game by game. We are very satisfied with this win.'

 

Mumbai reaches third place in the points table.

 

With the help of Rohit Sharma's (70) second consecutive half-century, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets in an IPL match on Wednesday. This is Mumbai Indians' fourth consecutive win, after which the team has moved from sixth to third place in the points table. In reply to Sunrisers Hyderabad's 143 runs for eight wickets, Mumbai scored 146 runs for three wickets in 15.4 overs. Rohit expressed his intentions by hitting a six and then a four over the deep square leg on Pat Cummins' off-cutter in the third over. Rohit, playing as an impact substitute, read the situation well and played accordingly. He hit the second six over the cover to Jaydev Unadkat. Mumbai's next match is against Lucknow at Wankhede on April 27. At the same time, Hyderabad's team will now face Chennai at Chepauk on April 25.
