The heartbreaking Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat not only took away hundreds of lives but also shook the life of a 17-year-old student.
You may have seen a video of the Air India plane crash, in which the plane passed very close to the roof and crashed further.
This video was made by a student named Aryan Asani.
Aryan had come to Ahmedabad to buy books for his 12th-class studies. He unknowingly captured this accident on his mobile phone. He was also questioned after making this video. The memories of this horrific accident are still haunting him. However, he has now returned to his city.
Made a video of the accident out of curiosity
Aryan had reached Ahmedabad on Thursday, the same day this tragedy occurred. He said that he reached his father's rented house and went to the roof out of curiosity. From there he saw a plane flying at a low altitude. He had never seen a plane so closely, so he started making a video. But what he had thought did not happen. The plane suddenly fell hit a medical college campus and exploded.
Speaking to the media, Aryan said, "I thought the plane would land on the other side of the airport, but it exploded in front of my eyes. This scene was very scary."
This accident was so shocking for Aryan that he has not yet recovered from it. His father works as a security guard in Ahmedabad Metro after retiring from the Indian Army. He lives in a rented house in Meghaninagar. This house falls between the airport and the accident site.
Landlord Kailashba said, "Aryan had come to Ahmedabad for the first time, and within a few hours he saw such a horrific scene. The video he made was first sent to his father and then it went viral."
The testimony given to the police can prove to be important.
Aryan recorded his statement in the Ahmedabad Crime Branch on Saturday. He stated an eyewitness. According to the police, Aryan's video and his statement can prove to be important in the investigation. However, now Aryan has decided to return to his village Shamlaji taluka so that he can focus on his 12th class studies.
