Jaishankar tweeted that in the meeting with UN chief Antonio Guterres, there was a discussion about the Ukraine crisis as well as the major events taking place in Afghanistan and Myanmar. Jaishankar said that the idea of ​​providing food and energy security to Ukraine in this crisis was shared.

Along with this, there was also a discussion about the attitude of the Taliban government in Afghanistan and stopping the violence in Myanmar. After the meeting, UN Chief Guterres expressed happiness and said that I appreciate India's art of dealing effectively with any challenge.

Simultaneously, Jaishankar met with US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and US Trade Affairs Representative Catherine Tai in the fourth 2+2 Dialogue. He had clearly said that the issue of human rights was not a topic of discussion during the India-US 2+2 ministerial meeting. Taking a tough stand, Jaishankar had said that people are entitled to have an opinion about India.
