Kharge later clarified that 'he and late former PM Chandrashekhar were arrested together. He told Shekhar that 'I said this because your father was my friend and you got up as if...'

On this, Kharge said that it has never been his nature to insult anyone. After this, he accused the BJP of insulting former PM late Manmohan Singh.
