Big blow to Putin: Russian diplomat resigns in UN, said - I am ashamed of my country's antics

Russia has suffered a tremendous setback on the International Diplomatic Front. Russia's diplomat at the UN not only publicly condemned the attack on Ukraine but also said that they are ashamed because of this war. The name of this diplomat is Boris Vondrev. He expressed his feelings by writing a letter to his colleagues in the UN.

Boris said- 'There is no doubt that the attack on Ukraine was done unnecessarily and forcefully. Our President Vladimir Putin is responsible for this.

Boris said - bowed his head for the first time

Boris wrote many important things in his resignation. Said- 'I have been a career diplomat for 20 years. Worked in many missions, but I am deeply ashamed of what happened on 24 February (attack on Ukraine).'

Vondrev has also led the UN committee which is working to eliminate nuclear weapons in the world. He has also served on battlefields like Cambodia and Mongolia.

the first time this happened

If we talk about diplomacy in the UN mission, then this is the first time that a diplomat of a permanent member of the Security Council has resigned in this way. Boris wrote his resignation in the Russian language and later the news agency published it in English.

According to the 'Washington Post', Boris may no longer return to Russia, because there he is bound to be treated the same as many of Putin's opponents have been treated before. Boris has also rejected Putin's claim that a 'special operation' is going on in Ukraine. According to him- 'This is a direct attack and I cannot defend my government. Apart from being a civil servant, I also have some responsibilities.

Russian government silent

According to Boris - some more Russian diplomats may resign because they have suffered a lot of humiliation after the attack on Ukraine. However, he is silent because of the pressure. Our rulers live in luxurious palaces and yachts. What would they understand the pain of war? They only know how to lie. Our foreign ministers also say different things. Now there is no diplomacy, but the language of war is being spoken. Hate and lies are being spread. I am going to Geneva and will be there now.
