Three policemen have been suspended in a major lapse in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Modi had gone to Jharkhand on a two-day visit on the occasion of the birth anniversary of tribal leader Birsa Munda.

There was an atmosphere of chaos among the security personnel deployed for the protection of PM Modi on Wednesday when the Prime Minister was going to Birsa Munda Memorial cum Park located at Jail Chowk. Meanwhile, suddenly a woman came in front of the Prime Minister's convoy on Radium Road. Emergency braking had to be applied due to the woman suddenly entering the carcade. Within a few seconds, the security personnel present at the spot removed the woman from there and took her to the shore. After this, the PM's convoy moved ahead.

A police officer said that an ASI and two constables have been suspended for dereliction of duty during the Prime Minister's visit. The suspended policemen include ASI Abu Zafar, constable Chhotalal Tudu, and Constable Ranjan Kumar. He said that the caught woman had been identified as Sangeeta Jha. She was reportedly upset with her husband and wanted to file a complaint against him.
That's why the woman came in front of the convoy
Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandan Kumar Sinha said that during interrogation, the woman said that she was married to a man in Jamuni village of Deoghar district of Jharkhand in 2012. After the year 2016, fights started happening between them regularly. Sinha said that the woman wanted her husband's salary to be credited to her account. In this connection, she also went to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister in October this year and stayed there for 10 days. However, there was disappointment. The woman had also tried to meet the President. When all efforts went in vain, she returned to her in-laws' house in Deoghar.

The officer said that when the woman got information that the Prime Minister was going to visit the capital of Jharkhand, she came to Ranchi. The woman tried to meet him during the roadshow on Tuesday night but failed and also tried to visit Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. She said that she was returning disappointed from Raj Bhavan, but suddenly on Radium Road she heard the siren of the Prime Minister's convoy and she suddenly came in front of the convoy.
