Junagadh Dargah Violence There was a lot of ruckus last night in Junagadh, Gujarat over the removal of the illegal Dargah. In Junagadh's Majewadi area, a violent mob attacked the police who arrived after the notice to remove the dargah. The mob pelted stones on seeing the police and set fire to private and government vehicles after vandalizing them.
The ruckus about the dargah had increased so much that the crowd also set vehicles on fire. The police resorted to lathi-charge and also fired tear gas shells to control the crowd. Because of the high tension in the area over the matter, police and Rapid Action Force personnel have been deployed to bring the situation under control.

According to the information, notice was given to the Dargah located at Majewadi Gate of Junagadh. After which no response was received then action was taken by the system. During this there was a clash between the police and the crowd. Government vehicles were also damaged. The police were also attacked with acid bottles and stones.
