After the name of 37-year-old Indian-origin entrepreneur Rinson Jose surfaced in the recent Pager blasts in Lebanon, the Kerala Police on Sunday started a family investigation into his background. A police official told news agency PTI that this is not a case or an investigation.
The officer said that the Special Branch officials have investigated the background of Rinson Jose. There is nothing new in this, it happens whenever such news comes out. Another official said that precautionary patrolling has been started in the area near Mananthavady after the reports.
Rinson grew up in Wayanad
Rinson's family has not requested police protection. His maternal uncle Thankachan told the agency that he is completely confident that he will not do anything wrong. He grew up in Wayanad.
