The Taliban government of Afghanistan has launched a campaign against it after banning the sale of alcohol in the country. Under this, on Sunday, Afghan intelligence agents shed 3000 liters of liquor in the gutter of Kabul. Its video has been released, so that illegal liquor sellers understand that the Taliban will not spare them.

This video has been released by the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI). In this, the agents of GDI are seen pouring the liquor-filled in the drums into the gutter. This liquor was confiscated in the raids conducted in Kabul. During this, the caught liquor vendors were put on handcuffs and kept standing on the spot in the shadow of bayonets.

The intelligence agency posted this video on Twitter on Sunday. Along with this, an Afghan intelligence official warned that Muslims will have to refrain from manufacturing and supplying alcohol in the country.

It is not yet known when the Taliban recovered the liquor and when it was thrown down the drain. The statement issued by the GDI said that three liquor vendors have been arrested during the crackdown operation.

Consumption and sale of alcohol in Afghanistan were also banned during the previous West-backed government, but the Taliban considers itself a staunch supporter of Islam, so it is taking a tough stand against it. After seizing the country's power on August 15, the Islamic government has launched a nationwide guerilla campaign against the sale of liquor.
