Lok Sabha Election 2024: 'Look at their shamelessness...', PM Modi's counterattack on Lalu's statement on Muslim reservation

Posted on 7th May 2024 by rohit kumar

Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is continuously accusing Congress that in Congress-ruled states, reservation of OBC, SC, and ST is being given to Muslims.

BJP has alleged that Congress is advocating reservation based on religion. At the same time, today Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Yadav commented on giving reservations to Muslims, which created a political ruckus.

What did Lalu Yadav say?

While talking to the media today (07 May), the RJD supremo said that Muslims should get reservations. Let us tell you that PM Modi had recently stated on Muslim reservation in an election meeting. He had clearly said that he would not allow the reservation of backward, deprived, and tribal people to go to Muslims.

Lalu Yadav further said, "Votes are in our favor. They (NDA) are saying that there will be 'Jungle Raj' in Bihar because they are scared. They are trying to instigate. They want to destroy the Constitution and democracy. Want."

PM Modi retaliated on this statement of Lalu Yadav.

PM Modi targeted Lalu Yadav

Addressing a public meeting in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi said, "Congress is silent, but today one of its allies confirmed the intentions of the INDI alliance. Their leaders are in jail in connection with the fodder scam and the court Looks at his shamelessness, he has been released from jail because of his health.

Opposition wants to give reservation based on religion: PM Modi

I have been saying for so long that these people (opposition) will cut off some of your share and distribute it based on religion, but their conspiracy is deeper. These people are now saying that on the day of voting, they want to give reservations of SC, ST, and OBC to the Muslim community.
