Maha Kumbh is going to be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Preparations for the Kumbh Mela are going on right now. Maha Kumbh is organized at four holy places in India, Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik at an interval of every 12 years. It is the world's largest spiritual and cultural event. Maha Kumbh will be organized in Prayagraj in 2025.

Organization of Maha Kumbh 2025

 

Uttar Pradesh is ready to host Maha Kumbh 2025. Kumbh Mela is being organized in Sangam city Prayagraj. Although Magh Mela is held in Prayagraj every year, Ardh Kumbh and Maha Kumbh Mela hold special religious significance. Earlier in the year 2013, Maha Kumbh Mela was held in Prayagraj. In the year 2019, a grand Ardh Kumbh was organized in Prayagraj. Once again the Yogi government is ready to organize Maha Kumbh.

 

When is Maha Kumbh starting

 

According to the Hindu calendar, Maha Kumbh starts every 12 years with the bathing festival of Paush Purnima and ends on Mahashivratri. The grandeur and recognition of Kumbh can be gauged from the fact that millions of devotees gather to take a bath in Kumbh. This year Maha Kumbh will start on 13 January 2025, which will conclude on 26 February 2025, Mahashivratri. Maha Kumbh lasts for 45 days.
