Preparations are in full swing for this.

 

The Home Ministry has sent a circular to the Chief Secretaries of all states and union territories. According to this, civil defense exercises and rehearsals will be conducted in 244 districts of the country on May 7.

Let us tell you that in 2010, the Home Ministry also ordered mock drills, during which a list of 244 districts was revealed. The names of many big cities in the country were included in this list. Mock drills are a type of emergency exercise. Usually, they are conducted to avoid natural disasters, fires, terrorist attacks, and other crises. Their purpose is to keep people alert about the impending danger and increase awareness.
