Cabinet expansion has been done in Maharashtra. After several days of brainstorming, the names of the ministers have been finalized and soon they will be allotted departments. However, among the newly appointed ministers of Fadnavis' team, many names are being investigated by the ED on corruption charges.

In the cabinet expansion that took place on Sunday, 19 BJP, 11 Shiv Sena and 9 NCP MLAs took oath as ministers. Three of these leaders have corruption charges against them.
According to the Times of India report, the names of these ministers who are under the scanner include Pratap Sarnaik, Hasan Mushrif, and Dhananjay Munde. The closure report of any leader has not been submitted to the court, which means that the investigation against them is still going on.
BJP minister gets clearance
On the other hand, a BJP minister Girish Mahajan has got clearance from the CBI. Now he is free from the charges. Let us tell you that during the MVA government, Girish was accused of extortion and kidnapping. He had demanded a CBI inquiry, after which Shinde handed over the investigation to the CBI.
The CBI later gave clearance to Girish.
ED has raided Mushrif's places.
ED has raided many places of Minister Mushrif. Dhananjay Munde is also under investigation related to the irregularities in a 17-acre plot.

Chargesheet filed against companies linked to ministers
When ED accused Pratap Sarnaik, Hasan Mushrif, and Dhananjay Munde of money laundering, they were in the opposition and later they joined the government. According to the report, ED has filed a chargesheet against companies and some people linked to the ministers against whom the case is going on.
