Playing for the Mumbai team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT), Yashasvi Jaiswal (Yashasvi Jaiswal Hospitalized) scored 15 runs off 16 balls against Rajasthan in the Super League match. According to him, Yashasvi Jaiswal was suffering from stomach cramps, which intensified after the match against Rajasthan. He was immediately taken to Aditya Birla Hospital, where he was diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis (stomach infection). He was given medication intravenously (through a drip) and underwent an ultrasound and CT scans. He has been advised to take medication and rest.
It is worth noting that Yashasvi is currently in excellent form. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he has scored 145 runs in three matches at an average of 48.33 and a strike rate of 168. He also performed brilliantly in the ODI series against South Africa, scoring 156 runs in three matches at an average of 78.
