Maharashtra NCP Ajit Pawar: Show of strength by both factions of NCP today, Sharad Pawar faction issues whip to MLAs

Both the factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will hold a show of strength today. A whip has been issued by NCP chief Sharad Pawar to the MLAs to attend the meeting. Pawar also called the MLAs himself. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's faction is claiming the support of 40 out of 58 NCP MLAs. The Sharad Pawar group is apprehensive about this.

 

Sharad Pawar will hold a meeting at one o'clock in the afternoon

The Sharad Pawar faction has called a meeting of state, district, and taluka level office bearers including party MLAs at the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan in South Mumbai, while the Ajit faction has called a meeting at the MET complex in Bandra. Jitendra Awhad has issued a whip on behalf of the Sharad Pawar faction. He told that Sharad Pawar has called a meeting at 1 pm on Wednesday. All the MLAs must be present at the meeting. On the other hand, Sunil Tatkare will preside over the meeting on behalf of the Ajit Pawar faction, for which Shivajirao Garje has called the meeting.

 

Ajit Pawar is taking legal advice

Ajit Pawar is also taking legal opinion to deal with the crisis arising out of joining the Shinde-Fadnavis government. NCP national spokesperson Clyde Crasto said Pawar has been in constant discussion with legal experts on how to deal with the current political developments after his return from Satara on Monday night.

 

Sharad Pawar objected to putting his picture

The Ajit group opened a new office of the NCP on Tuesday at Government Bungalow No. A-5 in South Mumbai. The special thing is that Sharad Pawar's picture was put here. However, Sharad Pawar objected to this and said, those who do not agree with my ideology, do not have the right to put my picture. It is my right to decide where my picture will be displayed while I am alive.

 

Sharad tell how many MLAs are with him: BJP

BJP leader and minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has challenged Sharad Pawar to organize a parade of supporting MLAs. He said on Tuesday, NCP MLAs are with Ajit Pawar and he has chosen to walk with development and truth. I challenge Sharad Pawar to tell the number of his supporting MLAs.

 

Pune-Nagpur NCP's support for Sharad

Pune NCP city working committee meeting passed a resolution to support Sharad Pawar. Also, the BJP was criticized for breaking the party. At the same time, in the Nagpur district office, the workers removed the photographs of Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel. On the other hand, workers of the Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar factions came face to face for occupying the party office in Nashik, forcing the police to intervene. Nashik is the home district of Ajit faction leader Chhagan Bhujbal.
