After the Pahalgam terror attack, India attacked Pakistan, after which the Pak Army is continuously firing heavily on the borders and launching missiles. The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is very bad. In such a situation, people whose families are there are scared. The father of famous stand-up comedian Samay Raina is also in Jammu.
Samay Raina is a Kashmiri Pandit, and his hometown is in Jammu. At present, his father, Rajesh Raina, is in Jammu. In such a situation, amid the ongoing war between India and Pakistan (India-Pakistan War), the comedian spoke to his father on the phone for the last time. He has also shared an emotional post in which he said that he has full faith in the Indian Army.
Samay Raina's father spoke to him for the last time.
Writing an emotional note on Instagram story at midnight, Samay Raina said, "Tonight, my father called me from Jammu for the last time to say good night. His steady and calm voice inspires me to sleep and not worry - everything is under the control of the Indian Armed Forces. His calmness calms my restless thoughts."
Samay Raina was worried about his neighbour.
Samay Raina further said that during the blackout, a neighbour did not switch off the lights in his house. He said, "I switch off the lights in my Mumbai house and go to the window to draw the curtains. Outside my window, my neighbour's lights are still on. I know very little about them, that's how it is here."
Samay said, "I wonder if he, too, has family in Jammu, maybe in Pathankot, or maybe he is the son of some brave soldier who won't be able to sleep tonight, waiting for his father's call in the morning. My heartfelt respect to all the sacrifices made by the armed forces and their families for our safety. Good night. Jai Hind."
