Section 144 has been implemented in Mumbai. Under this, many restrictions have also been implemented in the entire Mumbai. Gathering five or more people in one place is prohibited. Apart from this, there is also a ban on the performance of public meetings. According to the order issued by the Mumbai Police, Section 144 will be applicable in the entire state from December 4 to January 2.

Along with this, there will be a ban on loudspeakers, bands, and the burning of firecrackers. Police have said that strict action will be taken against those who violate the order.

 

 As soon as Section 144 is implemented, marriage ceremonies, funeral gatherings, processions, and large-scale meetings of companies and clubs have also been banned.

 

Restrictions have also been imposed on meetings held in schools, colleges, and other institutions for educational activities. Apart from general meetings of factories, shops, and other establishments, this ban will also apply to the demonstration of the procession.
