Mahatma Gandhi: Today marks the 78th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi PM Modi and other leaders paid tribute to Bapu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 78th death anniversary and remembered his great ideals. On this occasion, the Prime Minister paid homage to Bapu on social media and emphasized his principles. Through the social media platform 'X', he paid tribute to Bapu, writing, "Revered Bapu always emphasized non-violence for the protection of humanity. It has the power to change the world without weapons. ‘Ahimsa Paramo Dharma, Ahimsa Param Tapah. Ahimsa Paramam Satyam, Yato Dharma Pravartate.’ (Non-violence is the greatest religion, non-violence is the greatest penance, and non-violence is the ultimate truth, from which righteousness is established.)"

 

 

Rahul Gandhi pays tribute.

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi also remembered the Father of the Nation, writing on the social media platform 'X', "Mahatma Gandhi is not a person, but an ideology. An ideology that was unsuccessfully attempted to be erased by an empire, by an ideology of hatred, and by an arrogant power. But the Father of the Nation gave us this fundamental principle along with freedom: that the power of truth is greater than the power of authority, and non-violence and courage are greater than violence and fear. This ideology cannot be erased, because Gandhi is immortal in the soul of India. Humble tribute to Bapu on his martyrdom day."

 

 

Mallikarjun Kharge pays tribute to Bapu.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also remembered Bapu on his death anniversary. He wrote on the social media platform 'X', "Vaishnava Jana To Tene Kahiye Je, Peed Parayi Jaane Re, Par-Dukhe Upkar Kare Toye, Man Abhiman Na Aane Re (A true devotee of God (Vaishnava) is one who understands the pain and suffering of others, does good to others, but does not allow any kind of ego (pride) to enter his mind)." He further wrote, "The hatred that separated us from Bapu, its solution also lies in Bapu's path... the light of truth, the power of non-violence, and the compassion of love."

 

 

Home Minister Amit Shah pays tribute to Bapu.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to Bapu on his death anniversary. He wrote on the social media platform 'X', "My heartfelt tributes to Mahatma Gandhi ji on his death anniversary." Revered Bapu united a country divided by language, region, and caste, and broadened the freedom movement. The ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, who envisioned a glorious India by linking self-reliance, independence, and cleanliness, will continue to inspire us."
