Dhurandhar is raking in massive earnings, and meanwhile, the teaser for the film's next installment has also been released, eliciting various reactions from people. However, the reactions to Dhurandhar have been ongoing since the film's release.

What did Heera Mandi actor Jason Shah say?

There are as many opinions as there are people... This is often said, and the same is happening with Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Recently, Jason Shah, an actor from the Heera Mandi series released on Netflix, spoke about it, and Jason described Dhurandhar as a film that promotes violence. He said,

"Look, religion and politics have always had a very deep impact on films, and this is not just the case in India, but all over the world. Cinema is fundamentally a form of art that communicates directly with people, connecting with them. In such a situation, if films don't change with time, viewers might lose interest in them. However, I regret that the 'innocence' has disappeared from today's films. Will everyone go to the theater to watch films like 'Partner' in today's times? I don't think so. Today's audience only wants to see excessive violence." I was watching the teaser for the film 'Toxic,' and it's clear from watching it what level our minds have reached as producers and what kind of content we are offering."

The significant point is that Jason didn't just talk about Dhurandhar; he also mentioned Toxic, saying that Toxic is a similar film, full of bloodshed and action. Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic are both scheduled to release on the same day at the box office.  A major clash at the box office is inevitable.

Incidentally, recently, Shazia Iqbal, the director of Dhadak 2, also criticized the film Dhurandhar, calling it dangerous and horrific.

Besides this, several other people have previously called Dhurandhar a propaganda film that promotes violence, although the makers don't seem to be bothered by this. The film has already earned 1300 crore at the box office, and now it's time for its sequel.
