Earlier, Mamata Banerjee congratulated the party in a Facebook post, "My heartfelt congratulations, Shubhonadan, to all the brothers and sisters of Bangladesh, to all the people. Advance Ramadan greetings to all of you. Congratulations to Tarique-bhai, his party, and all parties for this resounding victory. I pray that you all remain healthy and happy. I wish that our relations with Bangladesh always remain cordial."
