After the worst ever performance of BSP in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Mayawati has become active and the organization is being tightened from top to bottom. In this episode, Mayawati had called a meeting in Lucknow on Sunday to review the BSP's defeat. It has been decided in this meeting that equal representation will be given to 4 important groups of the state in BSP. These groups are – Dalit, OBC, Muslim, and Savarna. In fact, till now a coordinator was appointed by the BSP in every assembly. Usually, this responsibility was given to the Dalit leaders. But now Mayawati has made a plan that 4 leaders should be given the responsibility in every assembly. These four leaders will be from different classes.

In this time's assembly elections, BSP got only 12.88 percent votes and had to be satisfied with only one seat. Mayawati herself admitted that she could not get the support of classes other than her Jatav fraternity. In such a situation, he has intensified planning to woo other communities as well. At present, the BSP's entire focus is on doing well in the 2024 general elections. A senior leader said, “Till now every assembly had a speaker and it was scheduled caste only. Now 4 leaders will be appointed at this level. Mayawati has decided to announce their designations soon. These 4 leaders will be from different communities.

He said that responsibility will be given to these leaders to work to connect their communities with the party. By doing this work at the level of the assembly, benefits are expected. The BSP leader said that more emphasis will be placed on street meetings and rallies that these leaders personally go to their communities and work to bring them together. Let us inform you that taking tough decisions, Mayawati has removed 18 zonal coordinators and appointed three new coordinators. Of these three leaders, two are Dalits, while one is a Muslim leader.

Mayawati had told the reason for the defeat, expressed concern over polarization

The BSP leader said that based on the report of these three coordinators, leaders would be appointed in each assembly. Apart from this, brotherhood committees will be started once again. Let us inform you that after the results of the assembly elections, Mayawati had said that if the Muslims had voted for us, then only the BSP could defeat the BJP with its base vote of the Dalits. Mayawati also attributed her defeat to the propaganda that all Muslims are supporting the SP. He said that this led to polarization and apart from the Jatavs, many fraternities of the Dalit community voted for the BJP.
