According to the Meteorological Department, the cold wave will continue till December 20 in some parts of the plains including Delhi, and Haryana.

Apart from Haryana, and Delhi, the temperature has also dropped in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, the temperature has reached below 5 degree Celsius in many districts. In the coming days, a cold wave has also been forecast in many areas of North India. According to the department, a cold will increase in Uttar Pradesh in the next few days, due to which the temperature of many districts of the state may also fall. With the increase in fog in Bihar, the department has expressed the possibility of an increase in heat and cold.
There is a chance of snowfall
According to the Meteorological Department, we will have to wait for snowfall in the hilly areas. Cold and chill will increase in the mountains but chances of snowfall are less. There is a possibility of clear weather in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
