Apart from Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, there are many MLAs of the party, especially from the border belt, who have been angry with CM Bhagwant Mann for a long time. According to party sources, around 17 to 18 of these angry MLAs can also meet convenor Arvind Kejriwal separately. However, from time to time, these angry MLAs have been conveying their Mann ki Baat to Kejriwal's ears.
Two MLAs from the border area and Amritsar, while talking to Amar Ujala on the condition of anonymity, said that the talk of changing the CM before the Delhi assembly elections was not a rumour, even at that time many MLAs of the party had gone to Delhi and mentioned to Kejriwal the different perceptions being formed among the people in the state, after which there was a discussion in the political circles about making Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and even Cabinet Minister Aman Arora the CM.
The blame of Delhi's defeat on Punjab ministers
If sources are to be believed, in this meeting, convenor Arvind Kejriwal wants to maintain his dominance in the politics of the state by blaming the Punjab ministers for the defeat in the Delhi assembly elections. The interesting thing is that before the meeting with the MLAs in Kapurthala House in Delhi on Tuesday, some MLAs had reached Delhi on Monday afternoon and 10 to 12 MLAs had reached Delhi by 6 pm. Before the meeting, many MLAs were busy contacting Kejriwal, it is believed that in the coming days, the MLAs who have done good work in the party and the ministers and MLAs who were given the responsibility of the 22 seats on which AAP won the Delhi elections, may also get new responsibilities.
