It is produced at the Russian company Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, Kazan Helicopter Plant, and Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. The Mi-17V-5 helicopter is an upgraded version of the Mi-8 helicopter.

 

Mi-17V-5 can work better even in high altitudes and extreme weather conditions. It is an upgraded version of the Mi-8. The Mi-17V-5 has been specifically designed to operate optimally at high altitudes and in hot weather conditions.

This military exercise between India and America started on 15 November and will continue till 2 December. Auli is just 100 km away from LAC. In this exercise, Integrated Battle Groups will be tested in mountains and extremely cold areas. This exercise takes place in India for one year and in America for one year. Last year it was done in Alaska, USA.

The China border adjacent to Uttarakhand is part of the Central Sector of the Indian Army. This area has been disputed between India and China for a long time. China's military activities have increased in the area since the violent clash in the Glavan Valley two years ago. India will conduct infantry maneuvers with Australia

India is gradually strengthening defense ties with Australia. The armies of both countries will conduct the first 'Austra-Hind' infantry combat exercise from 28 November to 11 December. An army official said – This will increase the ability to operate with both countries in the semi-desert terrain.
