Bhubaneswar, March 28 (IANS) Sonia and Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, star campaigners of the Congress and the BJP, will campaign for their party candidates in Odisha.
While Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to arrive March 31, his mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi will visit the state April 7, Congress state in charge B.K. Hariprasad said Friday.
Hariprasad arrived here Friday to chalk out details of the programmes of the two leaders.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will also campaign for the party, but his schedule is yet to be finalised, he said.
Similarly, Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh will address rallies in the state April 2.
BJP's prime ministerial candidate Modi is scheduled to visit April 4 and address two rallies - one in Rourkela and another in Bolangir, a party leader said.
