After the success of Chandrayaan-3, India is ready to launch Sun Mission Aditya-L1. ISRO chief S Somnath said that the countdown for the launch of Aditya-L1 will start from today. Meanwhile, interest has increased in India as well as in the whole world regarding this Sun Mission of India. People are waiting a lot to see the launch of this mission. In such a situation, we are telling you when and where you can watch the launch of Aditya L-1. Apart from this, what is this mission after all and what will it achieve…

Know first - when will India's first sun mission be launched?

The countdown for the launch of Aditya-L1 will start on Friday. After this, this mission will be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on September 2 at 11:50 a.m.

Where can you see a rocket launch?

ISRO has made special arrangements to show the world the launch of Aditya L-1. On its website, the institute had given the option to book view gallery seats to watch the launch of Aditya L-1 live from the center in Sriharikota to the audience. However, there were only limited seats for this, which were filled only after the registration started.

Not only this, but by visiting ISRO's website isro.gov.in, viewers can watch the live telecast of the launch of Aditya L-1 and get moment-to-moment updates. Apart from this, users can also livestream the launch on ISRO's website and YouTube channel.

How difficult will this mission of India be?

As per information, the Aditya-L1 spacecraft is designed for remote observation of the solar corona (outermost layers of the Sun) and in situ observation of the solar wind at L-1 (Sun-Earth Lagrangian point). L-1 is about 1.5 million kilometers away from Earth.

What will be the benefit of this mission?

According to ISRO, the Sun is the nearest star to us. It can help us the most in the study of stars. The information obtained from this will help in understanding other stars, our galaxy, and many secrets and rules of astronomy. The Sun is about 150 million km away from our Earth. Although Aditya L1 is covering only one percent of this distance, even after covering such a distance, it will give us much information about the Sun, which is not possible to know from the Earth.

What equipment will be used in Aditya L-1?

Visible Emission Line Coronagraph (VELC): Developed by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (Bangalore). It will study changes in the Sun's corona and emissions.

Solar Ultra-Violet Imaging Telescope (SUIT): Built by the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (Pune). It will take pictures of the Sun's photosphere and chromosphere. These will be photographs in the near-ultraviolet range, this light is almost invisible.

Solex and Hal1OS: The Solar Low-Energy X-Ray Spectrometer (Solex) and the High-Energy L1 Orbiting His work is the study of Sun X-rays.

SPEX and PAP: Physical Research Laboratory (Ahmedabad) has developed the Aditya Solar Wind Particle Experiment (SPEX) and Space Physics Laboratory, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (Thiruvananthapuram) has developed the Plasma analyzer package for Aditya (PAP). Their job is to study the solar wind and understand the distribution of energy.

Magnetometer (MAG): Developed by Electro-Optics Systems Laboratory (Bangalore). It will measure the interplanetary magnetic field around the L1 orbit.
