After fresh snowfall in Uttarakhand and Kashmir Valley including Himachal, the 'cold attack' will increase in the entire North India. According to meteorologists, fog will increase in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh in the next week. The icy winds of the mountains will increase the cold in the plains. This will increase the miseries of the people.

Director of the Meteorological Center Shimla, Surendra Pal told that after the fresh snowfall in the mountains, the fog in North India will reduce visibility. He told that the minimum temperature of most of the cities of North India will fall below 10 degrees. Due to this, people will have to light a fire in the morning and evening to avoid the cold.

First snowfall of this season in Himachal

Himachal's Manali, Narkanda, Shikari Devi, and Bijli Mahadev have received the first snowfall of this season during the last 24 hours. At the same time, the first rains of the winter season occurred in the plains. Here, Uttarakhand and Kashmir valley have also received fresh snowfall.

The impact of cold started appearing in neighboring states

In the first fortnight of November itself, the severe cold started falling on the mountains. The temperature in many cities of Himachal has dropped below the freezing point. The mercury in some cities has dropped up to 5 degrees. Due to the increasing cold and freezing of drinking water pipes, the problems have started increasing in the mountains. After the mountains, their impact will be visible in the neighboring states.

Forecast of snowfall again on the 19th and 20th

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear from today for the next 4 days, but from the evening of November 18, the weather will change again. There are chances of snowfall again on 19th and 20th November.

Keylong's temperature dropped to -6.1 degrees

After fresh snowfall in Himachal, it is cold in the higher reaches. The minimum temperature of Keylong has reached minus 6.1 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the temperature of Chamba's Pangi and Bharmour, Shikati Mata has dropped below zero degrees.
