Bhopal, Feb 24 (IANS) The process to book Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav for irregularities in MP professional examination board (Vyapam) has been initiated, a police officer said Tuesday.
"FIR process is on," senior police officer Ashish Khare told reporters here.
The manipulation in selection process for government jobs, conducted by Vyapam, is being probed by a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Khare said: "As per the high court directions to the SIT, the STF (Special Task Force) will do what the SIT recommends."
SIT chief Chandresh Bhushan had said Monday that many people have complained to him. He said Congress leader Digvijaya Singh too has complained and a probe is being carried out.
The government has told the high court said till now, 539 people have been arrested and 218 are absconding in the Vyapam scam.
