According to the Hindu calendar, Chaitra Purnima Tithi begins on April 5 at 9.19 am. At the same time, it will end on the morning of 6th April at 10.04 am. According to Udaya Tithi, Hanuman Jayanti will be celebrated on 06 April 2023, a Thursday.

Significance of Hanuman Janmotsav

On the day of Hanuman Janmotsav, by worshiping Bajrangbali according to law, one gets desired results. Keep in mind that while worshiping Hanuman ji, do worship Lord Ram, because without worshiping Lord Shri Ram, the worship of Hanuman ji is considered incomplete.

On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, wear clean clothes after taking a bath in the morning.

Now install the idol or statue of Bajrangbali on a wooden post, on which a yellow-colored cloth is already spread.

Light a ghee lamp in front of Bajrangbali.

Sprinkling water and mixing raw milk, curd, ghee, and honey, anoint Bajrangbali.

Offer red or yellow colored cloth, kalava, flowers, incense, incense sticks, diyas, etc. to Bajrangbali.

After this, by reciting Hanuman Chalisa, the devotee completes the puja and prays for blessings.

On this day Hanuman devotees should recite Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, Sundar Kand, and Ramayana.
