In the 30th match of IPL 2025, CSK team defeated Lucknow by 5 wickets and achieved their second victory in the current season. After losing five consecutive matches, CSK team is back on the winning track. By defeating Lucknow in its home, CSK has also equalized the account of last year's defeat.

 

In this match, CSK captain MS Dhoni played the role of match finisher and scored an unbeaten 26 runs off 11 balls to give the team a thrilling victory.

After the match, MS Dhoni received the Player of the Match award. During this, he became the oldest player in IPL history to win this award. At the age of 43 years and 280 days, Dhoni broke Praveen Tambe's 11-year-old record.

 

In 2014, Praveen Tambe won the Player of the Match award against KKR at the age of 42 years and 208 days and became the oldest player to receive this award, but now Dhoni has broken his record.
