Fans are very crazy about Salman Khan. Bhaijaan's fans pray for the actor's safety every moment. On April 14, 2024, when two unknown men opened fire outside the Sikandar actor's house at around 5:30 in the morning, his fans were very scared.

However, the Mumbai Police soon arrested a man in this case. The man was reportedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Now recently a new update has come out in the firing case at Salman Khan's house and the police have rejected the arguments of the accused arrested in this case and refused to grant him bail.

What arguments were presented before the special court?

A special court in Mumbai refused to grant bail to an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang arrested in connection with the firing at actor Salman Khan's residence last year, saying, 'The accused cannot escape the MCOCA provisions just because there is no criminal background against him.'

Maharashtra Organized Crime Control Act (MCOCA) judge Mahesh Jadhav on Friday rejected the bail plea of accused Sonu Chander alias Sonukumar Bishnoi. The special court said that it is clear from the evidence that Chander, along with other accused and the kingpin of the Bishnoi gang, conspired to murder the victim. The court said that according to the relevant provisions of the Act, membership of an organized crime gang makes a person liable under MCOCA.

Charge sheets filed earlier in Rajasthan and New Delhi

The special court further said that according to the records, charge sheets have already been filed against the organized crime gang in Rajasthan and New Delhi. In those cases, gang leaders Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, and other associates conspired and committed the crime.

Talking about Salman Khan's upcoming projects, after Sikandar, the actor is currently busy shooting for Battle of Galwan, in which Chitrangada Singh will be seen in the lead role with him. Salman Khan will shoot intense sequences in Leh Ladakh for Apoorva Lakhia's movie.
