A shocking incident came to light on Thursday at Ra Studio in Powai, Mumbai. A man held 15 to 20 children hostage inside the studio. It is reported that this man works at the studio. Media reports claim that the accused has been detained by the police. However, the Mumbai Police have not confirmed his detention.
The hostage-taker released a video. The hostage-taker also released a video in which he threatens, saying, "I have taken the children hostage as part of a plan. If I am provoked even slightly, I will set this place on fire. I made this plan instead of committing suicide. Do not provoke me; otherwise, I will take steps to harm the children."
The accused's name is Rohit Arya.
Meanwhile, a statement was issued by the Mumbai Police, stating that the accused, identified as Rohit Arya, held some children hostage in Powai, Mumbai. He also released a video in which he says he wants to speak to certain people and that if he doesn't, he will set himself and his children on fire. The man appears to be mentally unstable. Police are trying to resolve the matter.
