Nepal government imposed ban on panipuri in Kathmandu, know what is the reason

The government of Nepal has imposed such a ban in the capital Kathmandu, which everyone is surprised to hear. Here the Health Ministry has banned Golgappa in Kathmandu's LMC. This decision has been taken after the increase in cholera cases in the Lalitpur Metropolitan City of the Valley. It has been claimed that Cholera bacteria have been found in the water used in Pani-Puri.

 

According to Municipal Police Chief Sitaram Hachetu, all preparations have been made to ban the sale of panipuri in congested areas and corridor areas. He says that there is a danger of increasing the cases of cholera due to Panipuri. Seven new cases of cholera were found in Kathmandu on Sunday. With this, the total number of patients in the valley has gone up to 12.

 

Chamanlal Das, director of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division under Nepal's Ministry of Health, said that five cases of cholera were found in the Kathmandu metropolis. Apart from this, one case was found in Chandragiri Municipality and one in Budhanikanta Municipality. Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has advised people to contact the nearest hospital as soon as they notice any symptoms of cholera.

 

The government has appealed to the people to beware of water-borne diseases like diarrhea, and cholera, which spread during the rainy and summer seasons.
