India will be hoping for a bronze medal from wrestler Aman Sehrawat on the 14th day of the Paris Olympic Games. Aman lost in a one-sided fashion to top seed Rei Higuchi of Japan in the semi-finals of the men's 57 kg freestyle category on Thursday. In this way, his dream of winning the gold medal was shattered, but he still had a chance to win the bronze medal. At the same time, better performance will also be expected from golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar.

Aman will face Darian Cruz

Aman had performed strongly in the pre-quarterfinals and quarter-finals. However, he could not play aggressively against Higuchi and could not score a single point. Now he will face Darian Toi Cruz of Puerto Rico in the bronze medal match on Friday at 9.45 pm. Aman had raised the country's medal hopes in wrestling by reaching the semi-finals with a technical superiority (12-0) win over Albania's Zelimkhan Abakarov in the quarter-finals.

Aditi-Diksha tied for 14th place after the second round

Indian golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are tied for 14th place out of 60 players after two rounds of the women's golf event at the Paris Olympics. Aditi had shot an under 71 in the first round, and she shot an under 71 in the second round. In the second round, she made four consecutive birdies from the sixth to the ninth holes. She made bogeys on the third, fifth, and 12th holes. Diksha had shot an even-par 72 in the first round, and she was two under after the third hole but made a double bogey on the 18th hole.
