North Korea will expand military exercises and strengthen war preparations, dictator Kim Jong Un ordered

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has ordered the country's military drills to be expanded and war preparations strengthened. Kim Jong Un has taken this decision regarding the growing tension with Washington.

 

Kim presides over a meeting of the Central Military Commission

Kim presided over a meeting of the Central Military Commission of the ruling Workers' Party on Monday, news agency KCNA said. Where officials discussed major military and political tasks for this year and long-term issues related to adaptation to army build-up. During this, Kim encouraged the armed forces to 'perpetuate victorious deeds' and display 'incomparable military power'.

 

Discussion on operation and war practice

The members of the Central Military Commission discussed several tasks aimed at promoting transformation in the Army. Including the issue of continuously expanding and intensifying operations and war exercises, and more rigorously carrying out war preparations.

 

The military parade will be organized on the occasion of the 75th establishment anniversary

The meeting comes at a time when North Korea is expected to hold a military parade on Wednesday to mark the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army. Preparations are underway for a huge military parade in the capital Pyongyang. Kim may use the event to showcase the latest hardware from his growing nuclear weapons and missile program, which could raise concerns for the United States and its allies in Asia.

 

North Korea had threatened America

Earlier last week, North Korea threatened to counter US military moves with the heaviest nuclear force. Condemned US plans to expand its joint exercises with South Korea and deploy more advanced military assets such as bombers and aircraft carriers in the region.
