More than 100 cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the capital Delhi for 24 hours on Wednesday. This is also a matter of increasing concern because less than 100 cases were coming for several days. Because of the fresh wave of coronavirus infection in China, Southeast Asia, and some countries in Europe, concern has started increasing in the country as well. The Union Health Ministry has also become alert in this regard. Recently, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan had written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Health Secretaries of all the states and union territories, warning them. It has been said that the administration of any state should not be careless thinking that now the number of new corona cases is not worrying. This includes behaving in a covid friendly manner.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) will be held on Thursday amid the normalcy of Corona in the capital. The current situation of Corona will be discussed in this meeting to be chaired by Lieutenant Governor and DDMA President Anil Baijal. Along with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, many senior officials will also be present at the meeting. The current status of corona infection and vaccination will be reviewed in the meeting. Further preparations will be done after the review.
A few days ago, the central government had issued an advisory to the states. In the advisory, it was instructed to be vigilant on Corona and not to be negligent. Even though there has been a decrease in the cases of corona, in some states, the cases of corona are also increasing. In such a situation, the states should follow the guidelines issued earlier.
123 new cases of the corona, one death
On the other hand, in the country's capital Delhi, the infection rate of corona increased marginally to 0.50 percent on Wednesday. Due to this 123 new patients of Corona were found. With this, one patient died, while the infection rate was 0.45 percent on Tuesday. 106 patients were cured in 24 hours. At present, there are 459 active patients in Delhi. Out of these, 21 patients are admitted to hospitals, while 315 patients are in home isolation. The number of containment zones has come down to 2849.
