Corona Alert: Home isolation mandatory for Corona-infected people in this state, government's decision amid increasing cases

Along with many countries of the world, Corona cases have started increasing in India too. After Kerala, now the number of newly infected people in Karnataka is also becoming scary. Meanwhile, the Siddaramaiah government of the state has taken a big decision. Now home isolation has been made mandatory for Corona-infected people in the state.

 

Earlier on Tuesday, 74 new cases of corona were reported in Karnataka. In the last 24 hours, the death of two people due to corona infection was also recorded. According to the health bulletin, the total number of patients undergoing treatment in the state increased to 464. At the same time, after the increase in Corona cases, the total number of deaths due to Corona in the state has increased to nine.

 

 

44 patients were discharged from the hospital

According to the bulletin, 44 patients were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. A total of 6,403 samples were tested during this period, including 4,680 RT-PCR tests and 1,723 rapid antigen tests. The infection rate in the state is 1.15 percent, while the death rate due to infection has been recorded at 2.70 percent.

 

The age of both the patients who lost their lives was 51 years.

One of them was admitted to Dakshina Kannada on December 22 with symptoms of fever, cough, and breathlessness. He had a serious infection and died on December 23, he had not got the Corona vaccine.

 

The second patient admitted to Mysuru on December 20 with symptoms of cough and breathlessness, died on December 25. He also had a serious infection, but he had got the corona vaccine.
