India registered its second win by defeating Pakistan by seven wickets in the Group A match of the Asia Cup 2025. In this match played in Dubai, Pakistan batted first and scored 127 runs in 20 overs. In reply, India achieved the target in just 15.5 overs by losing three wickets. With this win, India's entry into the Super-4 stage is almost certain. Kuldeep Yadav bowled brilliantly and took three wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel took two wickets each, while Varun Chakraborty and Hardik Pandya also took one wicket each. However, more than the match, there is talk about India's symbolic boycott of Pakistan. India showed Pakistan the mirror on the sports field as well and embarrassed them.

Indian players did not shake hands after the match.

What happened after the match caught everyone's attention. Usually, after the match, the players of both teams shake hands, but this time it did not happen. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav headed straight to the pavilion with Shivam Dubey after hitting the winning six. The Indian players and support staff celebrated the victory by hugging each other, but did not follow any formality with the Pakistan team. It is worth noting that even at the time of the toss, Suryakumar Yadav did not shake hands with Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha. On social media, people are calling it India's "silent boycott" (symbolic boycott).

Close the door on Pakistan's mouth.

Not only this, after the match, a video is becoming increasingly viral on social media in which a member of the Indian team is seen closing the door of the dressing room after all the players and staff reach the dressing room, while the Pakistani players are seen standing and waiting on the field. It is clearly visible in the video that the Indian players were celebrating among themselves, and as soon as the Pakistani team forms a line and moves forward to shake hands with India, the door of the Indian dressing room was closed from the inside. Fans say that this move reflects India's stance not only on cricket but also on recent events. Many former cricketers and experts have also called it sporting diplomacy.

Pahalgam attack and 'Operation Sindoor'

This entire incident is being linked to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and the subsequent response of the Indian Army. A few months ago, 26 people lost their lives in an attack in Pahalgam. After this, the Indian Army launched 'Operation Sindoor', in which major action was taken against terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Since then, there has been a demand for a boycott of sports against Pakistan in India.

Suryakumar Yadav's big statement

After the victory, captain Suryakumar Yadav clearly said, 'We had taken a decision as a team. We had come here only to play and responded on the field. Some things are above sportsmanship. We stand firmly with the victims of the Pahalgam attack. We dedicate this victory to our soldiers who took part in 'Operation Sindoor' and showed bravery. Hopefully, they will continue to inspire all of us, and whenever we get a chance, we will give them more reasons to smile on the field.'

Abhishek's stormy start, Suryakumar's captaincy innings

Chasing the target, young opener Abhishek Sharma gave India a strong start by scoring 31 runs in just 13 balls. After his dismissal, captain Suryakumar Yadav took the responsibility and scored an unbeaten 47 runs (37 balls) to lead the team to victory. This victory made his birthday more special.

There may be a clash again in Super-4.

This is India's second consecutive win, and the team is now at the top of Group A. If Pakistan also qualifies for the Super-Four, then the two teams may clash again next Sunday, which is going to be even more exciting given the current situation.
