After returning from a two-day visit to China, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmadu Qureshi has said that his visit to China was very important and one can say that China has a very clear view on the issue of Kashmir in which they have no doubt - Is not cool.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that there is no doubt in the proposals of the Organization of Islamic Countries OIC on the issue of Kashmir and the attitude of Saudi Arabia is not different from the OIC.

Qureshi said these things during a press conference in Islamabad on Monday. He visited China on 20–21 August of the same month. He said that in one year, there have been three meetings in the United Nations Security Council on the issue of Kashmir, which was not possible without the help of China. He said that China has said very clearly that the step taken through India on 5 August 2019 is a one-sided action that China rejects.

On August 5, 2019, the Modi government of India abolished the status of a special state given to Kashmir under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, and by abolishing the status of its state, it was renamed as the two Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Was divided into

Pakistan had called this step of India against Kashmir against the UN Security Council resolutions.

According to Qureshi, China has said that it will secure the bilateral strategic interest of Pakistan and China to ensure the peace and development of the region, which according to them is a response to the opposition on the SEPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) is.

Object to India's response

On this occasion, Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that India's response to the joint statement issued during his visit to China was not correct. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava had reacted to the shared statement of China-Pakistan and said that some part of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is in the territory of India which has been illegally occupied by Pakistan.

He had said, "We strongly oppose any country's attempt to change the status quo in the case of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. We hope that no country will interfere in the internal affairs of India."

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that China has once again clearly stated that it wants a solution to the Kashmir problem in light of UN Security Council resolutions and two-way (India and Pakistan) agreements, Which according to him is a very important statement. He said that every effort has been made to break the enthusiasm of Kashmiris in the last one year from India.

According to Qureshi, the joint statement issued by six parties of Indian-administered Kashmir (Guptkar proposal) has given a new strength to the struggle of the people of the valley.

Remember that on Saturday, the PDP, the National Conference, the People's Conference, and some other parties issued a joint statement in which they topped the demand for restoring Kashmir's special status.

Relations with Saudi Arabia

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan has a special view on the Kashmir issue and that is why its friends have certain expectations. He said that 'Pakistan's relations with Saudi Arabia are stable and will remain.'

In response to the question of whether Saudi Arabia has asked for the money back to Pakistan, Qureshi said that this is a 'concocted' and 'imaginary' question. He said that Pakistan has put its view on Kashmir in front of the whole world and Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan will not come under any pressure in this matter.

Regarding the attitude of Saudi Arabia on the Kashmir issue, Qureshi said that a negative perception was projected on social media about it. Regarding Saudi Arabia, Qureshi said, "Saudi Arabia's view on this is very clear and now it is to see how to carry it forward."

This statement of Qureshi is important because, in the past, his statement about Saudi Arabia and the OIC created a lot of ruckus.

Qureshi's previous statement on Saudi Arabia

Shah Mahmood Qureshi, speaking on a program on a private news channel ARY for the first time on a public platform, saw Saudi on 5 August 2020 when Pakistan was celebrating the Day of Persecution on the completion of one year of the end of the special status of India-administered Kashmir. Openly expressed dismay at the policy of Arabia.

He had said, "Saudi Arabia and we have a very good relationship. Izzat and Mohabbat have a relationship. Pakistanis are ready to die for the safety of Mecca and Medina. Today I am telling the same friend country (Saudi Arabia) that Pakistan Muslim of Pakistan and that Pakistani who is ready to die fighting for you, today he is asking you to play the leadership role (on Kashmir's case) which Muslims are expecting from you and if I did not, then Imran Will say to Khan that we can't wait any longer. We have to move forward. With or without Saudi Arabia. "

There was a panic in diplomatic circles on the complaint from Saudi Arabia openly on behalf of Pakistan's Foreign Minister. Not only Saudi Arabia, but the Quraysh also expressed their resentment over the OIC.

He had said, "I will once again humbly request the OIC that if you cannot call a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, I will forcefully ask my Prime Minister that those Muslim countries who want to stand with us on the issue of Kashmir And want to support the victims of Kashmir call their session whether they are on the OIC forum or not. "

After this statement, there was a panic in the media and political circles. Many people dismissed it as their statement. Even Imran Khan had to say that there is no conflict with Saudi Arabia and strong brotherhood relations are maintained with them. After this statement by Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the diplomacy behind the curtain came into action.

The Saudi Ambassador based in Islamabad met Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan's Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi and then General Bajwa visited Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi's assertion that everything is normal between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is an attempt to reduce the tension created by his statement.
