We will ensure that strict action is taken against all perpetrators, including the possibility of the death penalty.

Amit Shah spoke to Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday. The Home Minister is understood to have directed the Chief Minister to take strict action against those involved in the May 4 incident. Sources said Shah asked Singh to take all possible steps to nab all those involved in the incident and take appropriate action as per law.
