The countdown for the launch of the Indian space agency ISRO's Sun Mission Aditya L1 has begun. ISRO said that Aditya L1 has reached the Sriharikota spaceport in Andhra Pradesh. ISRO says that Aditya L1 may be launched in the first week of September. Let us tell you that Aditya L1 has been built at ISRO's UR Rao Satellite Center, from where Aditya L1 has now reached Sriharikota for satellite launching.
Satellites will continuously keep an eye on the Sun
Explain that this is the first mission of ISRO to be sent to study the Sun. Aditya L1 will be placed in a halo orbit close to the Langres point of the Sun-Earth system. It is located 1.5 million kilometers away from the Earth. ISRO told that the biggest advantage of setting up the satellite in the halo orbit near the L1 point is that the sun can be monitored continuously from here and the solar eclipse does not affect it. This will be of great benefit in analyzing the activities of the Sun and its impact on space weather.
ISRO will study these activities of Sun
Seven payloads will also be sent to space along with Aditya L1. These payloads will study the Sun's photosphere, chromosphere, and outermost layer with the help of electromagnetic and particle and magnetic field detectors. Four of these payloads will continuously monitor the Sun and the remaining three payloads will study particle and magnetic fields according to the conditions. ISRO said that the payloads of Aditya L1 will provide important information about the sun's coronal heating, coronal mass ejection, pre-flare and flare activities, and the impact of the activities in the sun on the space weather.
Talking about the objectives of the Aditya L1 mission, it will study the dynamics in the upper atmosphere of the Solar System. Along with this, chromospheric and coronal hitting, the physicality of ionized plasma, etc. will be studied.
