The series of terrorist attacks in Pakistan is not taking its name to stop. Terrorists once again exploded in Karachi on Monday. A woman was killed and 11 were injured in the blast near New Memon Mosque in the Kharadar area here.
Karachi Police say that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was used for the blast. Police pickup and some other vehicles were damaged in this attack. The surrounding area has been sealed. So far no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Prime Minister said - will deal strictly
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has condemned the attack. He issued instructions to immediately nab the people involved in the incident. He said that those who perpetrate such incidents will be dealt with strictly. He has also spoken of helping the Sindh government. Here, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed to provide better treatment to all the injured. Along with this, a detailed report has been sought from Sindh's IGP Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar.
The blast took place in the Sadar area on Thursday
This is the second terror attack in three on Karachi city. Earlier on Thursday, 1 civilian was killed, while 13 people were injured in an explosion near the Sadar area of Karachi. To carry out that incident, an IED was fitted to the bike and blasted.
