In the United Nations Security Council, Russia claimed that Ukrainian soldiers with the help of the US were using biological weapons.
Russia had passed a resolution demanding a probe by the UNSC in this matter. It was said that a commission should be set up to investigate the use of biological weapons in Ukraine's laboratories. However, India has completely distanced itself from this draft of Russia.

Voting was done on this proposal of Russia in UANC, in which Russia got only China's support. The US, Britain, and France voted against the resolution. Other countries including India did not participate in this voting.
