After IPL, Team India will play a home T20 series against South Africa. After this, the Indian team will leave for Ireland and England to play a series of one Test, 3 ODIs, and 3 T20 matches. There is talk of resting some big players before this important three-week tour.

According to the source, captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Ravindra Jadeja are included in the list of rested players. It has been told that not all these players will take part in all the matches of the home T20 series against South Africa. There will be no bio-bubble in this series.

BCCI preparing workload management program

After IPL 2022, the Indian team has to play a series of five T20 International matches in five cities from 9 to 19 June. After this, the team has to go on a tour of Ireland and England. In such a situation, keeping in mind the workload, the key players of India's team will be given rest.

However, the form of some players remains a matter of constant concern for the team. During the T20 World Cup, going on the field with out-of-form players can be overwhelming for the team.

According to the source, BCCI is working out an effective workload management program so that the players can be a part of Team India after being in the bio-bubble for a long time in IPL.

Rahul Dravid will play an important role

It is also coming to the fore that for how long the players should be rested, the decision will be taken only after talking to Team India's head coach Rahul Dravid.

The team has been focusing on the T20 World Cup to be held at the end of the year for a long time and the players must be mentally and physically fit. Because of the fatigue in Bio-Bubble, the decision to rest has been taken. Team India has not been able to win the ICC trophy for a long time and Dravid is preparing a strategy for it.

Hardik's decision is pending

It will be interesting to see what is the decision on Hardik Pandya's future. Hardik Pandya's return to professional cricket has been from IPL 15. He is consistently performing well in IPL. In 6 matches, his bat has scored 295 runs at an average of 74.

Along with this, he is also bowling at a speed of 145 kmph. A decision is expected to be taken soon whether Hardik will be picked for the home South African tour after the long IPL season or will take the field directly during the T20I series in Ireland.

Hardik Pandya is out of Team India since T20 World Cup 2021. At present he is the captain of Gujarat Titans and under his captaincy, the team is running on top.
