Prime Minister Narendra Modi roared in Bardhaman, West Bengal on Friday. He also addressed a rally here during the election campaign. In this rally, PM Modi targeted the opposition parties and said that he was born to serve the public. He further said that his dream is only to fulfill the dreams of the people. In this rally, PM Modi has also taken a dig at Rahul Gandhi's decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli. He said that Rahul Gandhi fled to Rae Bareli due to fear. PM Modi told Congress MP, 'Don't be afraid, don't run'.
Addressing the rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "The country and all of you have given me so many blessings. Perhaps no person can even imagine in his life that the people in the form of God should shower so many blessings and shower them continuously and over the years. These blessings are increasing, what can be more satisfying than this in life?
He further said, I was not born to have fun nor do I want to live for myself. With a resolve to serve you only, I have set out to serve the 140 crore countrymen of great Mother India. Modi is working day and night to make a developed India, to make a self-reliant India. I am doing this not for myself, but for my loved ones. My meaning - my India, my family. I am living with determination for your dreams.
Targeted at opposition parties
Targeting opposition parties TMC, Congress, and Left, PM Modi said that these parties do not have a vision. He accused the Left of destroying the neighboring state of Tripura. He said, you know very well what Left, Congress, and TMC can do to a state. Tripura leftists had destroyed nearby here. But in the last five years, the BJP has changed the life of the entire Tripura. When the leftists left, the sun of development started rising.
Attacking TMC, PM Modi said, yesterday I saw on TV that a TMC MLA here in Bengal publicly threatened. He was saying that "Hindus will be washed away in Bhagirathi in two hours". Which language is this? The TMC government in Bengal has made Hindus second-class citizens. What kind of people are these that have objections even to the slogan of Jai Shri Ram? They have objections to the construction of Ram temple, they have objections to the procession of Ram Navami.
PM Modi also questioned the TMC government regarding the Sandeshkhali issue. He said, "I want to ask the Trinamool government that such a big crime was committed against our Dalit sisters here in Sandeshkhali. The whole country kept demanding action, but TMC kept protecting the culprit. Is it only because the name of that culprit is Shahjahan? It was Sheikh."
PM Modi on Rahul Gandhi contesting elections from Rae Bareli
PM Modi has reacted to Rahul Gandhi's decision to contest Lok Sabha elections from Rae Bareli. Addressing a rally in Bardhaman, he said that Congress MPs were scared, hence he is contesting elections from Rae Bareli. The Prime Minister said, "I had already told that Shehzade is looking for another seat for himself due to fear of defeat in Wayanad. Now he has had to run away from Amethi and select Rae Bareli's seat. These people go around telling everyone - Don't be afraid! I would also tell them - don't be afraid!
While addressing the rally in Bardhaman, PM Modi claimed that this time Congress is going to be reduced to fewer seats than before. He further said that now the country is also understanding that these people are not fighting to win the elections, they are only using the electoral field to divide the country.
